When it comes to data limitations, QuickBooks Pro can hold up to a total of 14,500 customers, vendors and employees combined. For other areas like fixed assets and the chart of accounts, it can hold up to 10,000 each. Keep in mind that as you get closer to these limits, the performance of the software could slow down considerably.

When it comes to data limitations, QuickBooks Enterprise can hold up to a total of 1,000,000 customers, vendors and employees combined. You can also set up to 100,000 accounts on the chart of accounts as opposed to 10,000 for QuickBooks Pro, Premier & Accountant. QuickBooks POS allows users to enter sales information automatically into the user’s accounting software. Other key features of QuickBooks POS include barcode scanning, credit card processing, price lookup, receipt notes, refunds, discounts, exchanges, gift cards, layaways, quotes and customer history.
